About BLACKMARCK
My name is Andrij, and I'm a creative. BLACKMARCK is my project that brings out the feelings that we don't have names for.
Who is BLACKMARCK?
BLACKMARCK is a solo project by Andrij Demianczuk. It is inspired by my past and what has led me to where I am today.
BLACKMARCK is based out of Calgary, Alberta and a significant amount of inspiration comes from the Western Canadian sensibility. Everything from our majestic Royal Canadian Rocky Mountains, to the Great Plains and everything in between. I take this sensibility as I travel and try to apply my lens of wonder and awe in the human condition, the presence of Nature and the beauty of Science to my work.
Everything here is muted and dulled on purpose. The world it came from isn't, and neither are the prints.
Join me in this wonderful, terrifying and ephemeral experience we all share called life.
